Topshop is a globally known brand, set up in 1964 as an individually department store and has evolved so that now they own over 300 stores within the UK alone. With their collaborations including ones with Kate Moss, Cara Delevigne and recently announced Kylie & Kendall Jenner. Topshop are committed to producing a 'fresh take on making new season pieces work for you', with various styles and sizes available for customers. Topshop also have their Topshop Unique range which debuts on the catwalk at fashion week and is then available to buy through the online platform.

With over 60 years of fashion behind them, River Island are on of the most successful retailers on the high street. They have over 300 stores worldwide offering affordable fashion in new and original designs to keep their customers on trend and stylish. They have their chelsea girl range which keeps a link to their own heritage and have also had collaborations with Rihanna who brought out 3 collections with the store.
Established in 1994, Allsaints are a British fashion house originating from the East of London. Known for their premium leather goods and their iconic biker jackets, they have earned fashion status through their chic and clean cut designs. Their collections are available to purchase in store in over 10 countries and are shipped to over 200.

Because of their presence on the high street, alongside Zara this is what makes all three such big competitors of the brand. Having a similar target audience, makes it all the more important that each store offers the best service to their customers - discounts, offers, shipping services & collaborations - however Zara does not offer things such as student discount and collaborations. They keep their brand to itself, releasing its own collections and offering discounts only in the sale section. This could be altered to make their target audience grow and increase their popularity.
